What to Expect During Treatment

Your Invisalign journey at Center for High Tech Dentistry begins with a comprehensive exam and digital impressions. Thanks to our advanced digital impression technology, there is no need for messy, uncomfortable molds. Your custom aligners are fabricated based on precise 3D scans of your teeth.

Once your aligners arrive, you will wear them for 20 to 22 hours per day, removing them only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush and floss. You will check in with our team periodically so we can monitor your progress and provide your next sets of aligners.

Additional Orthodontic and Aligner Options

• Six Month Smiles® are another accelerated orthodontic solution that can move your teeth into their ideal alignment more quickly than traditional braces. Their design uses either invisible aligners or clear braces, depending on your circumstances, to remedy oral misalignment.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment time varies depending on the complexity of your case. Mild corrections may take as few as six months, while more involved cases can take 12 to 18 months. Dr. Abedini will give you a realistic timeline during your consultation.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Most patients experience some mild pressure or soreness when switching to a new set of aligners, which typically fades within a day or two. It is a sign that the aligners are working. Overall, Invisalign tends to be more comfortable than traditional braces.
